 Students revise: - The uses of will.

 - The difference between will and be going to.

 2. Knowledge:

+ Language: - Pronunciation: / ɡ / and / k /.

 - The uses of will.

 - Will vs. be going to.

 3. Skills: + Speaking: - Work in pairs to discuss the exercises.

+ Reading: - Read words and sentences aloud.

- Read the sentences silently to do the exercises.

II. ANTICIPATED PROBLEMS:

 - Students may not know the difference between will and be going to.

III. TEACHING AIDS: - board, chalk, textbook.

I. OBJECTIVES:
 1. Education Aims:- Students know how to pronounce the sound / ɡ / and / k / correctly.
 Students revise: 	- The uses of will.
 - The difference between will and be going to. 
 2. Knowledge:
+ Language: - Pronunciation: / ɡ / and / k /.
	- The uses of will.
	- Will vs. be going to. 
 3. Skills:	+ Speaking: 	- Work in pairs to discuss the exercises.	
+ Reading: 	- Read words and sentences aloud.
- Read the sentences silently to do the exercises.

WARMUP (5’)
Ex: This is the biggest cup I have ever seen
PRONUNCIATION (10’)
- / ɡ /: can stand ahead of at the end of the word. : group, game, together, goal, again.
- / k /: can stand ahead, between or at the end: club, kick, school, complete.
Practice the sentences: 
1. Our group has not scored a goal.
2. Uruguay will lose another game again.
3. Margaret took the dog and the cat for a walk.
4. Can your school club compete in the next tournament? 
GRAMMAR 
* WILL or GOING TO:
a. will vs. be going to: (10’)
ex: 
- Wife: This dress looks beautiful. It must fit me well.
 Husband: Ok. I will buy it for you.
- A: Why did you buy so much paint?
 B: I'm going to repaint my bedroom tomorrow.
+ Will: to talk about the future and the decision is made at the moment of speaking.
+ Be going to: to talk about intentions/ decisions which are made before we report them.
* Exercise 1 : Complete the sentences using
Answers:
1. I'll get

b. Will: making predictions (8’)
Ex: A: I like that car very much but I don't have enough money to buy it.
 B: Ask Jack for some money, please. He is rich and generous. I'm sure he will lend you some.
* Exercise 2: Complete the sentences using will or will not and any other necessary words
Answers: 
He will help .
Will not lend me any money .
It will rain today .
Will have to wear glasses.
Will have a headache.
Will like it .
I will not pass it .
c. Will: making offer (9’)
Ex: A: I'm so tired but I still have a lot of work to do.
 B: Oh, I will help you to finish it.
* Exercise 3: Make offer with I will for the following situation
 Answers : 
I will make you a cup of tea
I will open it.
I will lend you some.
I will give you.
I will carry them for you.
- Asks Ss to explain the sentences 
- Asks Ss to read aloud the text introduce 
- Asks ss to practice the two sounds /ɡ/ ./k/
Practice the sentences: 
- Firstly ask sts to look at the examples and tell the difference
- Asks Ss to review the structure : Will / going to
- Explains the structure. 
- Ask sts to do Ex 1 in pairs and then share the answers with their friends.
- Move round to help if necessary.
- Ask some pairs to report.
- Check and give remarks.
- Give an example so that sts can remember the use of will.
- Ask sts to read the examples and tell the teacher the use of will in this situation.
- Ask sts to do Ex2 individually and then share the answers with their friends.
- Move round to help if necessary.
- Ask two sts to write their answers on the board.
- Check and give remarks.
- Give an example so that sts can revise the use of will.
- Sts tell the T the use of will in this situation:
to make offer/ to show willingness.
- Ask sts to do Ex 3.
- Ask sts to do this execise in pairs.
- Move round to help if necessary.
- Ask some sts to report.
* HOMEWORK (3’)
- Do the exercise in the exercise book. Prepare the new lesson...
