- Listening comprehension: listening for details.

- Reading comprehension: answering the quetions

- Writitng a short annoucement for a relief fund to support people in flooded areas.

b. Language:

- Grammar: articles; infinitives for purposes.

3. Skills: listening, speaking and writing.

II. TEACHING AIDS: Books, reference books, cassette tapes, cassette player, lesson preparation, chalk, etc.

III. ANTICIPATED PROBLEMS: Sts may find the text difficult to complete the exercises due to lack of common knowledge and vocabulary related to the topics.
