Emphasizes the diphthongs / iə / - / eə / - / uə / in each word. Sts: Read those words. T: Asks Sts to write the phonetic symbols of those words on the board. T: Corrects mistakes if needed. T: Plays the disk and asks Sts to repeat after each of the sounds that they have heard. Sts: Listen and repeat. T: Asks Sts to read the given sentences out loud. Corrects mistakes if necessary.
