THE PASSIVE VOICE (Câu bị động)
I. FORM (công thức chung)
ACTIVE: S + V + O
 PASIVE S + be + V3/ED + By O
* Cách đổi từ câu chử động qua câu bị động
- B1: Lấy tân ngữ (Object) của câu chủ động làm chủ ngữ (Subject) của câu bị động
- B2: Động từ “to be” chia phù hợp với chủ ngữ, động từ chính chia ở V3/ed
- B3: Chủ ngữ của câu chủ động làm tân ngữ (Object) của câu bị động (by O)
Chú ý: Trạng từ chỉ nơi chốn đứng trước “by”, trạng từ chỉ thời gian đứng sau “by”

1. Simple present (hiện tại đơn)
 S + Vs/es + O
Ex: She makes a cake.
 S + is /am/are + V3/ed + by O
Ex: A cake is made (by her).
 2. The present continuous (hiện tại tiếp diễn)
S + is /am/are + V-ing + O
Ex: She is making a cake.
S + am/is/are + being + V3/ed +(by O)
Ex: A cake is being made (by her).
3. The past simple
(thì quá khứ đơn)
 S + V2/ed + O
 Ex: She made a cake
 S + was/were + V3/ed + (by O)
Ex: A cake was made (by her).
4. The past continuous	
(thì quá khứ tiếp diễn)
S + was/were + V-ing + O
Ex: She was making a cake
S + was/were + being + V3/ed + (by O)
Ex: A cake was being made (by her).
5. The present perfect
(thì hiện tại hoàn thành)
S + has/have + V3/ed + O
Ex: She has made a cake
S + has /have + been + V3/ed
Ex: A cake has been made (by her).
6. The past perfect
(thì quá khứ hoàn thành)
S + had + V3/ed + O
Ex: She had made a cake.
S + had + been + V3/ed + (by O)
Ex: A cake had been made (by her).
7. The future simple
(thì tương lai đơn)
S + will/shall+ Vbare-inf
Ex: She will make a cake.
 S + will/shall + be + V3/ed + (by O)
Ex: A cake will be made (by her).
8. be going to (sắp.)
S + is/am/are going to + Vinf
Ex: She is going to make a cake
 S +am/is/are going to+ be +V3/ed + (by O)
Ex: A cake is going to be made (by her).
9. Modals verbs (động từ khiếm khuyết)
S + can/could/may+ Vinf
She can make a cake.
S+ can/could/may+ be + V3/ed + (by O)
Ex: A cake can be made (by her)
