II. LANGUAGE CONTENTS:

- General knowledge: Students can say to open and end the conversation. Making questions and giving responses in small talks.

- Language: Sentences related to the open and end the conversation.

 2. Skills: Fluency in greeting.

III. METHOD: - Integrated, mainly communicative.

IV. TEACHING AIDS: - Textbook, small cards.

 - Let 2 students go to the board and answer the questions.

I. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to ask and answer about small dialogues.
II. LANGUAGE CONTENTS:

- General knowledge: Students can say to open and end the conversation. Making questions and giving responses in small talks.
- Language: Sentences related to the open and end the conversation.

Contents
- Have Ss work in pairs.
- Give out 5 to 7 sentences whose words are in good order.
- Ask Ss to rearrange the words to make complete sentences.
- Ask Ss to look at Task 1 in the book.
- Have Ss work in pairs to put the expressions which are commonly used in making small talks under appropriate heading: Starting a conversation and closing a conversation.
* Note; For some Ss, this activity is easy, but it would be difficult due to some unfamiliar structures which need explaining:
- Have Ss practice these expressions with his/her partner.
- Ask Ss to do Task 2 in pair: Rearrange the sentences to make an appropriate conversation.
- Call on some pairs to practice the conversation in front of the class. T should draw Ss' attention to intonation and stress beside pronunciation.
- Ask Ss to keep on working in pairs: complete the conversation with suitable words, phrases or sentences in the box.
- Call on some pairs to practice the completed conversation in front of the class.
- Have Ss choose another partner to form a new pair and then make a small talk on the following topics
- Ask Ss to use the starting and ending of a conversation in front of the class.
- Ask other Ss to comment on their conversation.
- Feedback and give suggested answers:
Summaries the main points.
Assign homework.
